Privacy

Your information, explained simply

This page summarizes the measures designed to protect your personal and health information. The legally approved policy and the official privacy officer contact details must be published before production activation.

What we collect

RECODEX collects only the information needed to provide the platform and support clinical services. Health information is treated as sensitive information.

Clinical AI use

Clinical AI assists the psychologist. It does not diagnose on its own and does not replace professional judgment. A patient record may be used only with valid AI consent and an authorized care relationship.

Protecting your identity

The AI provider must not receive your name, address, contact information, exact date of birth or official numbers. The transmitted context uses an alias and only the clinical elements useful for the request.

Retention and access

AI conversations linked to a record are pseudonymized and temporarily retained for 30 days. Access is logged without recording clinical content in the access ledger.

Your choices

You can review your consent status, pause AI access, withdraw consent and view recent access from your privacy center. Withdrawal does not affect care already received.

Providers and processing outside Québec

No patient information may be sent to an external provider before a privacy impact assessment, a written contract and approval for processing outside Québec. A technical setting cannot replace these approvals.

Privacy incidents

RECODEX maintains an incident-management process and incident register. Affected people and authorities are notified when required by law.
